About this task

A physical view is supported for storage systems running PowerMaxOS 10 (6079). The view displays how the hardware is comprised along with its associated components. The view consists of the front or rear bay images, list of directors and DAEs within the system. Hovering over each component displays a tooltip detailing the name of the component.

  2. Select System > Physical View.
  3. Click the Front radio button.

The front physical view displays. Hovering over a component within the physical view results in the display of a tooltip displaying the FRU ID. Select the slider to zoom in and out on the physical view.

  4. Click the Rear radio button.

The rear physical view displays. Hovering over a component within the physical view results in the display of a tooltip displaying the FRU ID. Select the slider to zoom in and out on the physical view.
